Had a fantastic weekend. Had a small little party on Sunday after the race (Indianapolis in May, you know…), not enough people to finish a keg, but large enough to try. Nobody was drinking too heavy, just enjoying themselves. Probably a good thing…
Went on the boat on Monday, it was VERY busy, with the locals, the weekend traffic, as well as the holiday traffic. Between the 30+ foot boats on our little pond, and the 20mph winds, we saw some 4′ chops with white caps. Made for rough running. Moose got a new digital camera, and made a 30 second Quicktime movie (offsite link you will need to click on) to show how rough it was out there. It’s 12.5mb, so it is best left to high speed access. I guess the best way to explain a pirate’s life and where they are at, is to explain the crew that helps them keep ship. For me, my family is very important. I have a very large extended family, and to write about everyone would take years. In the mean time, I started to create a page to explain my crazy little household and immediate family. Jaymie and Tanner are doing well, though Jaymie is still in a little pain. Jaymie will likely be in the hospital until probably Wednesday. Questions, feel free to call my cell or house phone number.

baby tanner marie entered the world today at 6:34pm, weighing 8 lb. 9 oz. 20 inches long, and for now has the typical Tryon blond hair and blue eyes. due to her size, baby tanner came via ceserian, momma and baby are doing great, both are currently sleeping, thanks to a full tummy for one, and really good post op drugs.
teressa is excited to have a baby sister. pictures, including ones from the operating room, should be posted tomorrow. for now, this pirate is tired and hungry, must take care of that while everyone is asleep.

5am that is, too early to go out drinkin’ even the best boat drinks, but not too early for the doctor to admit us. it appears the labor is for real this time. she’s getting pain medicine so she can sleep, so this pirate is logging off for some shut eye himself. more later.

it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, but it’s 1am here at the hospital, in labor. doctor wants us to walk. contractions are about 4 minutes apart, and strong, looks like the baby is finally ready to come (hopefully), 1 day after the due date. more updates as i’m able to later.
i’m blogging wirelessly on my new dell axim x50. great handheld to have, beats my ipaq 3650 hands down.
